Countdown to St Patrick's Day
A live countdown to St Patrick's Day, 17 March, in UK time.
Good to know
St Patrick's Day is a bank holiday in Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland observes it too. If 17 March falls on a weekend, the holiday moves to the following Monday in Northern Ireland.
Celebrations in Dublin start while the UK is on GMT, and the clocks in the UK and Ireland stay in sync all year.
